Important note: On certain months fly in 5 days earlier to now commence the Southern Explorer Safari in Lilongwe, Malawi if at all possible enabling you to safari in the beautiful South Luangwa National Park for evening game drives where we often get to see leopard. South Luangwa is also famous for its enormous population of elephant. If flying into Lilongwe Kenya Airways is the best carrier to consider. Contact us for further information if you are interested in joining us earlier.
Otherwise for this safari join us the day prior to the main departure date at our camp in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia.
DAYS 1-8 ZAMBIA
Predeparture meeting, Lake Kariba, Victoria Falls.
Optionals: 2 nights on a houseboat, lion walks, elephant and horse rides, white water rafting, jet boating, interactive drumming, sunset cruise, bunji jump, gorge swing, canoeing, township tour, 'flight of the angels' in a tiger moth, ultralight or microlight and many other adventure activiites.
DAYS 9 -13 BOTSWANA
Chobe lodge, Makgadikgadi Pans, Maun.
Optionals: Chobe National Park game drive and cruise, Okavango Delta guided mokoro safari, flight over the Delta.
DAYS 14-19 NAMIBIA
Hoba meteorite, Etosha National Park, game drives, visit with a Bushmen or Himba tribe, cheetah sanctuary.
DAYS 29-23 NAMIBIA
Skeleton Coast, Swakopmund with lodge stay.
Optionals: San Bushman rock engravings,quad biking, sand boarding, sky diving, paragliding, desert flights, Cape Cross Seal Colony, open sea fishing, dolphin trip, township tour.
DAYS 24 -30 NAMIBIA - SOUTH AFRICA
Namib Desert, Sossusvlei, Namib Naukluft National Park, Fish River Canyon, Ai Ais, Orange River, Cape Town.
Optionals: Canoeing, wine tour, guided walk on the dunes
