Once in Africa you pay the following on the ground costs:

The group kitty

The kitty is an essential group payment payable in Africa on day one to your group.

The group kitty covers two meals a day and camping throughout whilst with the truck,

including a seafood bbq.

It also covers the Masai Mara, Nakuru National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park including a game

cruise on the Kazinga Channel, Ngorongoro Crater, the Giraffe Park and a visit to a Maasai village.

Remember the kitty payment is a group fund that you pay into locally. Where there is money left
over the group together decide what then happens to any remaining funds

Optional extras                        

A recommended typical budget for your optional excursions that might pay for

once in Africa would be:                                                                                                                                 

Some clients spend more, some less. The above is a typical estimate selecting
from the following main choices during the 32 days. Do re-check your budget looking            

at what might tempt you.

*Some months the truck drives the alternative route through the Serengeti and the

Serengeti then comes out of kitty with the resultant price reduction to £115.                                        

             

Spending money        

You will also need spending money to cover drinks, lunch, souvenirs,

and cheaper excursions such as a donation to the Genocide Memorial.

This money also covers if you wish to upgrade occasionally from camping.
