Once in Africa you pay the following on the ground costs:

The group kitty

The kitty is an essential group payment payable in Africa on day one to your group.

The group kitty covers two meals a day and camping throughout whilst the group is with the truck.

It also covers Queen Elizabeth National Park including a game cruise on the Kazinga Channel, Ngorongoro Crater, Mikumi National Park, South Luangwa National Park (or alternative) and a visit to a Maasai village.

Remember the kitty payments is a group fund that you pay into locally. Where there is money left
over the group together decide what then happens to any remaining funds

            * Some months the truck drives the alternative route through

               the Serengeti and the Serengeti then comes out of kitty

Spending money        

You will also need spending money to cover drinks, lunch, souvenirs,

and meals and camping when the group isn't with the truck on the

off chance you don't participate in an overnight safari such as the Serengeti,

this money also covers you if you wish to upgrade occasionally from camping.
